In automotive electronics, body control module or "body computer" is a generic term for the electronic control unit responsible for monitoring and controlling various electronic accessories inside the vehicle body. Usually in a BCM car controls power windows, power mirrors, air conditioners, immobilizer systems, central locks, etc. BCM communicates with other on-board computers via automobile buses, and the main application is controlling relay load drivers that in turn take action in vehicles such as locking doors or dimming overhead salon lights.
