Davie is a town in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city's population is 91,992 at the 2010 census. - The Viele House, built from 1912, is the oldest remaining housing structure in Davie and is an excellent example of vernacular architecture. It survived the 1926 storm and the 1947 floods. It continued to be occupied by members of the Viele family until moving to the Old Davie School property. Unfortunately, Viele House is sealed to accommodate modern air conditioning systems, as part of a permanent preservation plan.
