The Majestic Theater is a historic cinema located on 240-246 Collinsville Ave. on East St. Louis, Illinois. Built in 1928, the theater replaced the 1907 theater that had burned down. The Spanish Gothic Theater was designed by Boller Brothers, who is a prominent national theater architect. Colorful tiles adorn the front facade of the building, forming a patterned mosaic. The front also features a dock with decorative tops and high curved windows. The theater attracts many celebrities at its opening, and it represents some of the first films in Eastern cinemas. Louis; it was the first in the city with modern air conditioning systems and the first one in Southern Illinois to show talkies. The theater closed in the 1960s.

Theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 9, 1985.
